The wand kaleidoscope is the lava lamp version of one of the world's oldest optical toys. Like standard kaleidoscopes it has a tube containing mirrors, coloured glass, or paper which create patterns when lifted to the eye and rotated.
Our 15cm wand kaleidoscope is a twentieth century development of the regular kaleidoscope. When held to the eye, the viewer sees a world of hearts, stars and moons. The wand is filled with a coloured floaty gel which seems to suspend the shapes. When the wand is pulled in and out, and twirled, a myriad of floaty forms drift in front of your eye - similar to a lava lamp.
The word 'kaleidoscope' is from the Greek meaning 'watcher of beautiful forms'. Kaleidoscopes as we know them were first patented by Scottish science prodigy Sir David Brewster in 1817. This was exactly 150 years before the Beatles sang of "the girl with kaleidoscope eyes" on their Sergeant Peppers album. It could be a useful soundtrack for this particular kaleidoscope.

It's impossibly cute. Like standard kaleidoscopes, it's a collection of glass, mirrors and paper shapes inside a tube. The difference is that this one has dragonflies, ants, butterflies, and spiders and bees. This particular kaleidoscope is an interesting brain test - strangely, many of our customers seldom see both the spiders and the bees on first viewing; they generally see one or the other. This is 15cm long and totally beguiling.

The LogiAgent robot belongs to the LogiCity Intelligence Agency (LIA). They help the police ? and occasionally the army ? to find and capture robots trying to disrupt the normal life of the city. Armed with his super-sensitive sound sensor he can hear when trouble is coming. He even has a RoboFlyer (30cm) to help him hear round corners by extending his head.
His strong magnetic feet help him spy on people or he can swap around his head with other LogiMen to disguise himself.

This LogiVillain robot was miss-programmed in the Neural Network Centre (NNC) where all LogiMen are made. This means that he is always doing naughty things and giving the police in LogiCity loads of extra work to do. He has a light sensor which activates his evil red flashing eyes. He can be caught by the LogiCop’s bright light unit or activated from a distance using a torch light beam.
Using his strong magnetic feet he can hang upside down to make his escape or swap around his head with other LogiMen to disguise himself.

Logi Robot
The LogiRobot (LR001) is a truly unique and multi-talented robot with a mind of its own. It can be used in simple play or it can be used in more complex and engaging projects that help you understand the principles of control, automation and robotics. It is compatible with all other Logibloc parts and kits so you can extend its functionality with Extrablocs to make ever more complex gadgets – it's up to you and your imagination!
The LogiRobot Kit contains over 60 parts including 10 Logibloc parts, a Docking Station, and click fit Pulleys and Fixings to enable many varied fun tasks to be carried out. The LR001 itself contains two electric motors and a clever microprocessor so that you can control it either by the Remote Infrared Control Unit or by letting it respond to onboard or remote Logibloc sensors.

The cardboard sheep is assembled by slotting the pre-cut pieces together. The completed sheep model is then placed over a small dish (provided) of magic solution.
